About the Designer

Whether a hobby or a job I have never stopped refining my creative talents. From an early age I always pursued drawing, photography, painting, and decorating.

Early on working for a real estate office my creative ability was noticed and I was enlisted to create a complete line of custom marketing materials, monthly calendars, and quarterly newsletters.

After learning all I could about managing real estate professionals I decided to become one. I went to work as a REALTOR and a full time property manager. Learning how to successfully operate a business, market myself, and create lasting customer relationships, I am now going back to the dreams of my youth and pursuing graphic and web design.

My background in business gives me the added knowledge of what works in the “real world.” I understand that graphics are not always something that has to be all glam. You need to express your company and your service or product in the most effective way, not the prettiest way. Although you can be ascetically pleasing in your marketing, I know firsthand that you want someone to remember who you are and what you do above all else.

When I am not designing on the computer, I am always finding something to keep myself occupied. I am working towards completing a BA degree in Marketing. I am an avid scrapbooker finding it so enjoyable to use different papers, paint, and endless arrays of items to incorporate together. Outside you will find me on a canoe journey with my husband or fishing in the river or oceans of Florida.
